The LaSalle Vipers responded to this past Wednesday’s home loss to the Chatham Maroons by winning back-to-back road games over the St. Thomas Stars and Komoka Kings.
Spencer Lecot notched the winner in overtime on Friday night in St. Thomas, and then Noah Morneau’s power-play goal late in the third broke a tie game and lifted the Vipers to a 4-2 win in Komoka on Saturday night.
Nic Pavia’s four-point outing and Spencer Lecot’s three-point night, including the OT winner, highlighted the win over St. Thomas. Against Komoka, LaSalle outshot the Kings 50-21 and were finally able to capitalize on their eighth power-play opportunity of the contest with just over three minutes to play to break the deadlock.
