LaSalle Vipers are committed to a holistic program of excellence. Our Philosophy of Family, School and Hockey, creates a very healthy atmosphere. We believe in developing life skills and creating memories with each individual while developing their character. As we nurture each athlete’s confidence, they excel on & off the ice.
Affiliation:
The ownership of the LaSalle Vipers has a major passion for our hockey community. We are the only organization in North America to own all 3 levels of Junior Hockey. Which includes the Windsor Spitfires OHL (2015), LaSalle Vipers JR.B (2008) and Lakeshore Canadiens JR,C (2012). This affiliation has proven to be an excellent opportunity for players to move up within our organization. Our players have special privileges, they practice with the Spitfires, and they play up with Windsor Spitfires. Our staff has access to the Spitfires Coaching staff to utilize their knowledge and enhance player and coaching development.
The location of the LaSalle Vipers program (Vollmer Complex) brings a distinct advantage from any local JR.B team in our area. We are less then 15mins from the University of Windsor & 10mins from St. Clair College. Our access to local High Schools are within 5-15mins of the Vollmer Complex.
Our Program of Excellence is proven successful. We are Sutherland Cup Champions 2010 & Finalist in 2014. Along with our strong tradition of winning, our competitive program believes strongly in development both on & off the ice. Our overall Holistic philosophy has given us great pleasure as an organization. It has given us a competitive advantage and provided our organization with a winning tradition.
Holistic Program of Excellence Includes:
On Ice Program
- Tuesday & Thursday Practice 4-5:30pm
- Wednesday Home Game 7pm
- Goalie Hour Mondays 3-4pm & Tues/Thurs 3:30-4pm
Off Ice program (Personal Fitness Trainer)
- Pre Game Video session/ Workouts
- Team Workouts 4-6 x Per Month
Facility – VOLLMER COMPLEX
- State of the art facility – 2 rinks, Pool, (Home Rink 1500 seat Capacity)
- Newly Renovated Dressing Room
- Gym (Vollmer Complex)
- Outdoor Recreation – Soccer fields, Baseball Diamonds, Skate park, Splash Pad, Pavilion
Community Involvement (players expected to participate in community events)
- LaSalle Vipers Golf Tournament
- Strawberry Fest preparation, McHappy Day, School events etc….
- LaSalle Minor Hockey – Coaching Staff, PPH Hockey & Viper Players help with skill development for the minor hockey organization
Fees Include the Following:
- Mystery trip – 2017 Notre Dame Game & Facility tour, 2018 Chicago Blackhawks Game & Facility tours, 2019 Nashville Predators Game & Facility Tour with former Spitfire Ryan Ellis, 2021 Ottawa Senators Game and many team building events.
