For the second straight Wednesday, the LaSalle Vipers will play host to the St. Marys Lincolns as the two teams head towards their destined final position in the Western Conference standings.
A week ago, the Vipers turned in what was arguably their best played game of the season in a 4-1 victory over the Lincolns to help them inch closer to the Lincolns hold on third-place. The Vipers split their next two games against Komoka and Chatham, while St. Marys defeated Sarnia and St. Thomas before dropping Tuesday night’s make-up game in Strathroy.
As it stands, LaSalle (21-15-1-5) sits seven points back of St. Marys (24-12-3-4) with two games in hand and still two games against them remaining. They will hope to catch the Lincolns perhaps a little road weary from their game in Strathroy last night.
Game-time at the Vollmer Recreation Complex tonight is set for 7:00 PM.
