Vipers Explode Offensively in 8–2 Win Over Caledon

The LaSalle Vipers made the long Friday night trip to Caledon worthwhile, dominating the Bombers with an 8-2 win.

Grady Spicer opened the scoring early at 2:41, but Caledon responded quickly, tying the game at 5:17. Newly acquired forward Dacian Pillon-Vandenbogaerde put the Vipers back on top at 7:57, netting his first career GOHL goal.

Just 69 seconds into the second period, Kade McGeen buried what would stand as the game-winning goal. After the Vipers faced three penalties, Brody Jones extended the lead at 14:21, followed by Michael Cunha, who continued his goal streak with a power play marker at 16:26. Caledon added their second of the night at 16:44, but that was as close as they would get.

The third period belonged entirely to the Vipers power play. Adriano Tonin scored his 12th of the season at 5:33, before Kaiden Harmon made it 7-2 at 11:08 with assists from Nic Rosati and Julian Gignac. Tonin struck again late in the frame, securing his second of the game and the Vipers eighth and final goal of the night.

The Vipers will skip their usual Wednesday home game at the Vollmer, instead visiting the London Nationals on Saturday, November 22nd, before returning home for a Sunday afternoon match up against the Listowel Cyclones.
