CAMBRIDGE, ONTARIO | AUGUST 23rd, 2021 – The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL) unveiled its 2021-22 regular season schedule today, including announcing dates and hosts for its Special Events.
After 561 days since the last meaningful game played on March 12th, 2020, the GOJHL will see its return September 24th with seven games slated for opening night. The 625-game schedule will see all 25 GOJHL clubs complete a 50-game season.
The LaSalle Vipers will begin the regular-season on Saturday, September 25 when they travel to Strathroy to take on the Rockets, and then will host the return match with the Rockets on Wednesday, September 29.
The KW Siskins will host the GOJHL’s Top Prospects / Future Stars event at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex in late December. The GOJHL Showcase will return to the Meridian Community Centre in Pelham in 2022, from Friday, January 21st to Sunday, January 23rd. Each club will play two games in front of OHL, U SPORTS, NCAA and NHL scouts.
The 2021-22 regular season will conclude on Sunday, March 13th with the top eight clubs from each Conference advancing to the post-season.
